International Relationships in the Ancient Near East: Sociopolitical Dynamics

Abstract

This dossier is a compilation of papers that can be placed in the vast thematic field of the history of international relations. Taken together, the issues explored in the various articles span four millennia of Near-Eastern history, and the objects of interest of each of the investigations differ widely from one another; nevertheless, the backdrop of each of the analyses is constituted by the relations between societies and the multiplicity of dynamics in which they materialised.
