Una brújula para la investigación: El trabajo de las mujeres en la atención a la salud en India colonial

Resumen

En este texto planteo la pregunta de cómo escribir una historia sobre el trabajo de las mujeres en la atención a la salud en el Delhi colonial. El punto de partida es la experiencia propia: la reflexión sobre mi formación académica en historia y sobre los temas de investigación que he trabajado. Se examinan algunas de las implicaciones de trabajar estos temas desde México, que van desde las cuestiones prácticas como el acceso a los archivos y las corrientes historiográficas, hasta las teóricas como las categorías a usar.
