Resumen

Se examina el sentido de la reflexión filosófica en Irán, tratando de mostrar que aquello que la alienta es la efervescencia política, al motivar el cuestionamiento de los principios a partir de los cuales se ha edificado la estructura social y sobre los cuales se constituyen los modos de vida, tanto en la dimensión pública como privada. Se hace un esfuerzo simultáneo por mostrar lo vaga que sería la explicación del papel de la filosofía a través de la oposición modernidad-tradición, debido al uso impreciso de estos conceptos en los análisis de los fenómenos culturales y sociales de Irán.
